My clothes ──★ ˙π§· ̟ !!
We're back with another topic, and this time it's about my clothes. I don't have a sense of fashion or the ability to mix and match outfits. I'm having a hard time figuring out my personal style, especially since I'm not the type of person who spends much time outdoors. Every time I go out, I either repeat my outfits or just go for something as simple as possible.
As someone with siblings who are all girls, I borrow or trade outfits with my sisters. They often pass on clothes they don't use anymore, so I get some of their hand-me-downs.
I spent a lot of time figuring out my personal style on Pinterest or Lemon8. There's a style that I'm interested in, which is vintage clothing. Vintage clothing uses a lot of saturated and soft colours. It's easy to find vintage clothing style these days, especially since it's become trendy nowadays.
i’ve realized that vintage clothes look super pretty and aesthetic, but actually pulling them off takes some trial and error (οΌ΄▽οΌ΄) since i don’t go out that much, i don’t really get the chance to try different combos and see what works. most days i just throw on something comfy or whatever’s clean. it works, but lowkey feels like i’m missing out on expressing myself through fashion (・_・;)
what makes it harder is i don’t really shop for new clothes a lot. i usually just borrow or trade with my sisters, so i wear whatever i’ve got. sometimes i end up with something cute and vintage-ish, but other times it’s just random pieces that don’t really feel like me (¬¬") and since it’s a mix of hand-me-downs, it’s hard to have a consistent style (´・・`)
but still, i really wanna have a look that feels like “yup, that’s my style” even if i’m just going out for something simple (≧∀≦)γ i’m not trying to have a huge wardrobe or anything, i just want to mix and match a few pieces that actually feel like me. maybe something cozy, soft, and a little bit classic but still cute. vintage but wearable (⁎˃αΊ˂)
still figuring it out tho. slowly but surely ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧
